Rare Antique Mayonnaise Mixer & Cream Whipper
Presented for your consideration is this rare mayonnaise mixer and cream whipper. The base of the mixer has a metal clamp to place and secure the mixer to a counter top or table. The midsection of the mixer is glass and a metal mechanism with a wooden handled crank sits on top of the glass container. Front of the glass has embossed lettering which reads "Universal Mayonnaise Mixer and Cream Whipper. Made by Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain Conn. U. S. A. " Top of the lid is also marked with this information in raised lettering along with "Pat. Apr. 27. 1915. Gr. Bt. July 14, 1914. No. 16, 753/14. " The mixer is finished with a metal mixing paddle. The top easily comes on and off when the screws are undone at the sides. Crank easily turns and the paddle moves easily when the crank is turned. In Working, Usable condition. It would make a great addition to any antique kitchen item collection!
Some light wear and very light oxidation is on the metal. Glass is free of chips and cracks. Metal is free of dents and dings. Overall in Very Good-excellent condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
Measures 5 3/8" in diameter at the widest point of the midsection and 13 1/2" tall.
